A woman in a rust-red sari with a gold border and a white tilak on her forehead smiles at the right foreground, wearing beaded necklaces, gold bangles and her hair pulled back. Around her, many women and men in white and cream traditional garments with gold borders stand in a loose crowd; one woman holds a mobile phone and another wears a long braided plait. A cameraman in a light blue shirt films beside a man in a white shirt, and a seated woman in a pale yellow top faces away from the camera at lower left. No identifiable a person figure is visible.2020-03-12February 03 20242024-02-03March 04 20202020-03-04February 07 20172017-02-07 +2 copiesOutdoor street scene in a town with shopfronts; a red Poomer banner and a Balu Electronics sign hang above. A group of about fifteen people crowd together on a stone step. At left, a bare-chested man in white dhoti with gold border and a sacred thread stands beside a bare pole. A woman in a rust-red sari with gold jewellery and a red bindi gestures while speaking. Next to her, an older woman in a white shawl and floral kurta holds the hand of a young boy with a shaved head, bare torso, white dhoti and rudraksha beads. Several women in white and pale kurtas watch, and at right a woman in an orange top, rudraksha mala and orange skirt stands beside a woman in a white T-shirt and red patterned skirt who raises a red phone to photograph.2020-03-06June 01 20122012-06-01 +1 copies
