Two drummers lead in front: the man on the left plays a drum with an orange strap and wears a white shirt and white dhoti, and the man on the right plays a red-and-gold drum wearing a white shirt and dhoti. Behind them a person in a green shirt and white dhoti blows a conch-like horn. At the centre, a young person in saffron-orange robes wears a long green and white garland and walks barefoot, with a black umbrella held above by a man in white. Other men in white shirts and dhotis, some with lanyards, follow along the path, with more people visible in the background near a parked car.2009-08-02March 03 20202020-03-03August 02 20092009-08-02December 18 20132013-12-18A photograph of an outdoor procession on a dirt road in front of a forested hill. Four men in white dhotis and shirts play long wind instruments (nadaswaram-style pipes) and one man in a white dhoti beats a barrel drum. Behind them, several sannyasis in saffron-orange robes and rudraksha-style beaded necklaces walk in a line, one carrying a folded white cloth over his arm. A red-roofed shed with bunting and banana plants stands in the background, with white pillars and plastic chairs at the right edge. People are visible at the far left and in the background.2010-01-08December 22 20182018-12-22Photo 11687454 +2 copiesA procession of young children walking down a paved road lined with palm trees and greenery. Girls and boys wear maroon and gold dress, while several boys in saffron-orange robes walk barefoot, some with shaved heads and white sacred markings on their foreheads. Two boys in the front-right raise long brass horns (ceremonial trumpets), and a girl in maroon carries a drum wrapped in red cloth. A man in white clothing stands in the background near a small red-roofed shrine and a road sign. The scene appears to be an ashram procession, with no identifiable a person visible.2013-06-19A procession in an open courtyard with paved grey stone floor, a shaded pavilion roof and trees behind. Many devotees wear orange-saffron robes and orange headwraps. A bare-chested man in white dhoti holds a long staff-like pole with a multicoloured fringed canopy, and a woman in orange carries a brass tray with a coconut and flower garland. Musicians play drums and wind instruments, and women carry offerings in trays. Decorative floor patterns mark the ground. A man in white dhoti and shawl stands at the centre of the group.2017-08-25
