Photograph of several saffron-robed sannyasis walking single file along a tiled corridor inside a building with white pillars, barred white gate and windows. The leading figure wears a deep red-orange robe with a broad orange-gold border and a red-orange shawl over the shoulder, and a rudraksha mala around the neck. Behind him, other robed men in matching red-orange robes and orange borders follow, one wearing a red mala, while a figure in white clothing walks among them. The corridor has pale walls with a painted blue and green stripe design and a green signboard at the far end.2013-06-23 +2 copiesJuly 07 20142014-07-07Procession through a temple corridor with yellow walls and a dark tiled floor, sunlight falling through an archway. A saffron-clad man with rudraksha malas, a gold pendant and a sacred ash/kumkum mark leads, flanked by sannyasis in orange robes with gold borders. Behind them, a man holds a long ceremonial umbrella above, and another carries a flaming lamp on a long handle. Men in white dhotis and a man in an orange lungi and red vest walk alongside, with more people behind in the passage.2012-05-30 +1 copiesJune 03 20162016-06-03August 11 20092009-08-11May 07 20122012-05-07Inside a stone temple corridor with worn grey pillars and a patterned white tiled floor, two saffron-robed sannyasis walk forward. The left one wears an orange and yellow wrap, a red-and-white forehead band, a rudraksha mala and a gold-toned neck chain. The right one, shaved-headed, wears a saffron wrap with a maroon border and a long rudraksha mala. Behind them a third orange-clad figure follows, and several men in white dhotis and a checked shirt stand at the sides, some with hands folded. A dim shrine with a deity murti is visible in the background. Whether the left figure is a person cannot be confirmed from appearance.2012-05-21A photograph of a procession moving through a narrow, dimly lit temple corridor with ornate pillars and a colourful decorated ceiling. At the centre, a man in an orange-red shawl and dhoti, wearing a gold crown and a gold pendant on a beaded necklace, walks forward smiling; the visible cues are the crown, the saffron-coloured clothing and the ornate gold necklace, so he is a probable Swamiji. Around him, men in saffron-orange robes wear rudraksha malas, and a man in white dhoti with gold border and a red-beaded mala walks at left. Yellow and green hanging lamps frame the passage, and a wire mesh grille lines the right side. Overall this is a temple procession among devotees and sannyasis.2012-05-07Photograph of a group of barefoot men walking through a dim stone-pillared temple corridor on a granite-paved floor, under fluorescent light. Several wear saffron-orange dhotis and shawls, while others wear white kurtas and white dhotis with red-bordered cloth. The man on the far right in a long orange robe with a white forehead mark holds his hands folded at his chest. A man second from left in orange holds a small white paper and reads it. A woman in a pale sari walks among them. Behind them, shops and lamps are visible in the corridor. Several figures walk in a line, consistent with a padayatra procession.2009-01-29June 03 20162016-06-03May 07 20122012-05-07Photograph in a narrow stone temple corridor with carved walls, a bright opening in the distance.
