July 10 20142014-07-10A photograph of a man in a saffron-orange robe with long dark hair and a white-and-red flower garland standing beside a lit flame and a small brass vessel held in his hands. Framed pictures and devotional prints hang on the wall behind him, and small framed images and a lamp sit on a table at left. The man appears to be performing a ritual offering near the fire. He is the only physical person visible. Swamiji (probable): long swept-back hair, saffron robe, and garland.2005-07-24December 26 20092009-12-26July 10 20142014-07-10A man with long dark hair, a white forehead mark, a white and magenta flower garland over an orange top, holds a brass oil lamp with a tall flame toward a wall alcove. Beside him, a partly visible person with dark hair stands at the lower right. On the white shelf at left sits an orange-robed seated figure, a statue with a red headpiece and mala beads, with framed pictures, brass lamps and a small flower pot nearby. The scene is an indoor aarti or lamp offering in a home shrine.2009-08-08March 18 20132013-03-18November 25 20092009-11-25July 07 20092009-07-07May 26 20132013-05-26 +2 copiesA photograph of a long-haired man in an orange saffron garment, bare-shouldered with white ash markings on his arms, holding a brass oil lamp (aarti) with a flame and reaching toward a brass tray. Behind him, another person in an orange robe with a gold necklace stands near a wooden stand, and a figure in a red garment sits by a white-draped altar with deity murtis and floral garlands. Stone-tiled temple floor and brass vessels are visible. The man's distinctive long hair, saffron clothing, and ceremonial gold necklace are recognizable cues, so this is a probable Swamiji in person performing aarti.2007-11-09A photograph of a man with long, voluminous dark hair and a red kumkum dot on his forehead, wearing an orange sleeveless garment and an orange shawl draped over his shoulders. He wears a long necklace of large gold-toned beads with black bands. He holds a brass oil lamp with a bright flame in his raised hands, and he gazes down at the flame, smiling slightly against a dark background with smoke. A second brass lamp stand is partly visible at the bottom edge.2010-02-12May 26 20132013-05-26
