Outdoor photograph under palm trees. A long-haired man in a sleeveless saffron-orange robe sits on an orange-cushioned seat, smiling and raising one hand in greeting while his foot rests on an orange cloth. Several men and women in white ritual clothes stand or kneel before him with palms pressed together in namaste, some with ornamental bangles and a blue-rosette badge. Behind them a tall white-painted pillar with garlands of flowers stands near a dark stone figure. Several photographers with cameras and bags stand in the background, and a bald man in an orange shawl appears at the upper right.2010-07-24Outdoors under coconut palms, a man in an orange robe with long dark hair sits on an orange throne-like chair while a devotee in white kneels and touches his bare feet, which rest on a tray of yellow flowers. The seated figure wears an orange garment, a gold-coloured necklace and rudraksha-style beads, and rests a hand on the chair arm. Behind them, a bald man in a white dhoti and an orange shawl stands with hands folded, and another devotee in white kneels with palms joined. A photographer with a video camera stands at left, and several people in white stand among small white buildings. This is a padapuja, the washing and worship of the feet, during a pada yatra event; the seated man is a probable Swamiji (long swept-back hair, orange robes and gold necklace), shown in person.2010-07-24November 13 20062006-11-13February 24 20072007-02-24July 25 20052005-07-25July 12 20062006-07-12Outdoor photograph of a large crowd gathered under palm trees at a rural open-air event. In the foreground, a bare-chested man in long saffron-orange cloth with long swept-back dark hair and a thick red-pink flower garland sits on a white-draped platform, appearing to receive devotees. A man in white dhoti and shirt with a rudraksha mala leans in to apply sacred marks to his forehead. Nearby, a man with a yellow-orange tilak on his forehead wears white and a rudraksha-style necklace, and a man in a white shirt holds his hands together in greeting. Dozens of people in white and bright saffron clothing stand behind wooden poles and bamboo fencing, with black loudspeakers visible at the top.2006-11-13November 11 20062006-11-11Outdoor photo at a palm-lined site with a tall golden kalasha-topped pillar garlanded with marigold and flower strands, set on a white pedestal. In the right foreground a man with long dark swept-back hair, wearing a sleeveless saffron-orange garment and a saffron shawl draped over his lap, smiles and raises one hand in blessing while seated on an orange-cushioned seat. Before him, a white-clad elderly man kneels and bows his head toward his lap, and a bald devotee in white and orange presses hands in namaste. Several white-clad devotees stand with folded hands, and cameramen photograph the scene. The seated figure shows distinctive long hair and saffron clothing consistent with the probable Swamiji cues, while the page's Swamiji flag is unverified by appearance alone. Visible people number roughly ten to twelve.2010-07-24July 30 20062006-07-30Outdoors under a large banyan tree, a man with long dark hair, wearing a white dhoti-style garment and a white and orange-banded flower garland, stands with palms pressed together in anjali mudra facing the tree. The trunk is wrapped and decorated with orange and yellow marigold garlands. Behind him a large crowd of devotees in white clothes sits and stands with hands folded in prayer, with a woman in a pink sari and others in front. Saffron-robed people stand at the left edge. This appears to be a darshan or puja at the sacred banyan tree. The man's identity is not determined from appearance; he is a devotee in a white garment offering prayer.2006-01-01July 12 20062006-07-12
