A small whitewashed room with a corrugated metal ceiling and a barred window on the left. A woman in an orange sari with long dark hair and a white flower garland lights an oil lamp (deepam) set on a wall ledge. Beside her, a green-covered table holds brass oil lamps, a bowl of white flowers, fruit and a framed picture garlanded with jasmine and red flowers. In the foreground, a man in a white shirt and a wristwatch holds his hands together in prayer, while several people stand at the edge of the frame in orange and dark clothing.

Photograph in dim indoor light of a woman with long dark curly hair, seen from behind and side, wearing an orange garment and raising a small brass or gold lamp in her right hand. To the left, a man in a light grey-brown shawl stands with palms pressed together in namaskar. Behind them, a man in white kurta and white dhoti with a red border stands with hands folded near an orange cloth. The setting suggests an aarti or puja offering in a temple or ashram hall.

Indoor photograph at night in a plain room with white walls, a wooden ceiling fan, barred windows and a bright bulb. A standing man in an orange-brown robe on the left holds up a small oil lamp flame toward a seated group on white sheets. Around six people sit on the floor, some in white clothes, while a camera and tripod stand at the right beside a pile of yellow flowers.

A photograph taken indoors at a medical camp in a dim room with a plain yellowed wall and a barred window. A man in a white shirt on the left presses his palms together in greeting while holding a hand near his face. A woman in a brown patterned shawl and a white hairnet holds a small oil lamp with a visible flame toward him across a white-draped table. A third man in a white shirt and hairnet stands behind her near the window, wearing a lanyard badge. Two people are physically present; the flame and table cloth are the focus.

A photograph taken indoors in a small room with white walls and a barred window. A man in a white shirt, seen from behind with his palms pressed together, stands at left. A figure in a saffron-orange robe with a white flower garland and long swept-back dark hair holds a lit oil lamp toward a small wall niche decorated with red flowers. A third person in orange, with hands folded near their face, is partly visible at the right edge. Three people are visible in the scene.

Indoor ritual at night in a plain room with white walls and a dark pillar in the foreground. A standing figure in an orange-saffron wrap holds a flaming torch or lamp aloft at left. Seated on the floor are several devotees: a young man in white clothes, a seated figure in orange-saffron robes with a beaded necklace, and two women in white and red saris. Brass vessels, fruit and flowers are arranged on the floor, and yellow marigold garlands lie at right. A fire or oil lamp burns near the seated group. The scene appears to be a final funeral rite or sannyas ceremony. Visible people: about six.

A photograph of a ritual inside a plain room with pale pink walls and barred wooden windows, lit by a ceiling light. A man in an orange-saffron dhoti stands at centre, holding a lit flame in his raised hand as an aarti. Nearby, a man in a white shirt and white dhoti sits cross-legged, and several people in white and red garments sit on the floor among brass plates, oil lamps, fruit, flower garlands and kalasha-style offerings. Other people stand at left in light shirts, watching. The scene appears to be an evening aarti or puja in a small ashram hall. No one is clearly identified as a person from appearance.

A photograph of a small, plain room with pale walls and a wooden side table holding a brass oil lamp, a small framed deity picture garlanded with flowers, brass vessels and other ritual items. A man with long swept-back dark hair, bare-chested under an orange saffron wrap edged with gold trim, stands at the table holding a brass bell in one hand and a lit lamp or incense-like object in the other, performing a puja. Behind him a man in white and a woman in a white sari with a dark beaded necklace watch with folded hands; a third person in orange clothing with palms pressed together stands at the right edge. Thin smoke rises near the wall. The distinctive long hair, orange wrap and ritual bell offer compatible cues for the page's identified figure, so the probable label applies to the bell-ringing man.

A man in an orange robe with long braided hair raises a flaming object toward the ceiling, while a younger man in white holds a small oil lamp beside him. A seated figure in orange robes wears a rudraksha mala and sits on a white-covered bench. Several people in white and orange sit along the right side, and a garland of flowers rests on a table near tall poles with orange cloth.
