May 24 20072007-05-24Photograph of a gilded deity murti pair seated on a golden pedestal inside a temple shrine. The male figure, with a tall jewelled crown and orange-red turban, holds a sceptre-like staff and displays a raised hand, wearing layered silver and multicoloured jewelled necklaces and orange dhoti. The female figure beside him wears a green and red silk sari, a jewelled crown, and a large silver necklace, with a red-sleeved blouse. Both are garlanded with orange marigolds and white jasmine. In the foreground, a living person in an orange cloth with white jasmine garlands sits or kneels before the murti, with a silver Shiva lingam-like ornament visible at the base. Background is dark, with stone architecture above.2007-05-27July 25 20072007-07-25 +2 copiesMay 21 20072007-05-21June 27 20072007-06-27 +1 copiesJuly 25 20072007-07-25June 27 20072007-06-27 +1 copiesAugust 01 20102010-08-01June 12 20072007-06-12 +1 copiesMay 26 20072007-05-26Photograph of a gilded deity murti pair seated on a red throne-like seat before a red velvet backdrop and an ornate gold arch. The figure on the left wears an orange-red turban, red and gold garments, layered jewelled necklaces and holds a trident; the figure on the right wears a gold crown, red sari-style dress and heavy necklaces, with one hand raised in blessing. Yellow and purple flower garlands drape both figures, and a tall brass oil lamp stands at left. In the lower right foreground a seated person in white and gold clothing with a striped headcloth is partly visible, with garlands around them. Their presence is a physical person, but the image is dominated by the murti pair.2010-08-01June 27 20072007-06-27 +2 copies
