A photograph of a crowd of devotees gathered under a corrugated metal shelter at a stone temple structure, apparently during a procession. Many people wear white clothing, with saffron-orange shawls and sashes on some, and several women wear saris in white, orange and pink. Two women in the foreground stand with folded hands, and a young girl in a checked dress stands at left. Ceremonial parasols with multicoloured panels and tassels are raised above the group, and a white decorated canopy hangs overhead. Saffron flags hang along the ceiling beams, and a red cloth drapes a stone pillar at left. A figure in white stands on a raised stone platform beside offerings, and a flower garland hangs near the altar.

Several large decorated parasols with orange, green and red fabric, tassels and a dove emblem are held aloft. A woman in a white sari with a red blouse and a dark shawl carries a basket of yellow flowers and green leaves. A man in a dark orange robe with a flower garland stands at the centre, with men in white shirts and white dhotis around him, many wearing rudraksha-style beaded necklaces. A bare-headed older man in white shirt and white dhoti stands in the right foreground. Orange and yellow cloths are carried in the procession, and a small crowd stands behind.

A deity murti garlanded with orange and yellow flowers is carried forward by bare-chested men in white dhotis and red-and-orange sashes. Several umbrellas in red, orange and blue, one with a bright blue canopy, shade the procession. On the right, a golden palanquin with a fringed red and green canopy stands beside people in white and orange. In the foreground, a man in an orange shawl with a rudraksha mala and a bare-chested older man in a white dhoti walk among the crowd, and a young child in pink stands at left. Several people in white dhotis and white shirts walk and stand around the platform, some wearing orange-saffron shawls. A shirtless man in orange cloth with a white garland walks at left carrying a metal vessel. Ornate orange, yellow and blue ceremonial umbrellas are held aloft on the right, and a small girl in white and orange walks in the foreground. Bunting and tents line the open ground behind.

A procession moves through a covered open-sided pavilion with a corrugated roof. At centre, a man in saffron-orange robes wears a long white flower garland and a rudraksha-style mala, with a yellow-and-orange headwrap. Behind and beside him, attendants in white and cream kurtas and dhotis carry large colourful ceremonial umbrellas with orange and gold fringe and embroidered panels. Several people in orange sannyasi-style clothing walk alongside, and a figure on the left wears a saffron robe. Banana leaves and a tent are visible outside. The scene looks like a ritual procession or ashram walk.
