An outdoor procession moves beneath a large banyan tree with dense green foliage and hanging aerial roots. A colourful orange, blue and red ceremonial parasol with decorative panels and fringed tassels is carried over the crowd. Many devotees in white dhotis, white shirts and saffron or orange garments walk closely together, some with folded hands in prayer. Women wear orange, yellow, cream and purple saris. A man in a white shirt with a rudraksha-style necklace stands at the right, while a woman in an orange sari and a woman in a cream sari with purple border are visible. Dirt ground and tree trunks frame the scene.
