At centre, two saffron-robed figures stand near a low platform; one bends toward a seated devotee. A large black-and-white portrait of a smiling woman with long hair hangs on the back wall, flanked by Tamil text panels with garland decorations, and wall-mounted air coolers stand on the sides. The scene suggests a satsang or darshan gathering.2008-07-29A book and literature stall inside a white tented pavilion with cream pleated drapery. Beneath it a woman in a white coat and a woman in a green sari sit at a table with medicine boxes and packets. Men in white shirts and dhotis, and a man in a striped shirt, stand and sit in the crowd in front of the table, with an elderly man in the foreground. The banner is a printed portrait, so it does not count as a physical person.2012-01-03A large crowd of mostly men in white shirts and dhotis sits and stands in a hall facing a stage. A backdrop shows a painted brush-stroke background with a large photographic portrait of a man wearing a bright orange turban and a tilak on the forehead, and a small framed portrait sits on a lectern where a woman in an orange sari speaks into a microphone. Potted flowers flank the stage, and several women in saffron-yellow and white saris and a man in white stand near the platform, with cameras set up. Overhead, ceiling fans and fluorescent lights hang above the hall.2010-02-15July 30 20082008-07-30 +1 copiesA crowded indoor hall with pale cream walls and tiled floor, where many people stand in a loose, milling group.
