A close view of a silver multi-wick oil lamp, an aarti lamp, held in two hands at the lower edge of the frame. Several flames burn on its branching arms and cups. Behind it, a large ornate silver-toned arch or canopy with repeating scrollwork and a red fabric backdrop sits out of focus, with garlands and a faint red glow. No person's face is visible. The lamp is the clear focus of the image.
