A figure with long curly dark hair wears a bright yellow wrap and stands at left, next to a figure in saffron-orange robes with a rudraksha mala who stands with hands folded. An elderly woman in saffron with a white shawl holds a garland of white flowers, and a man in white ritual dress stands beside her. Men in white shirts and trousers and a woman in green sari stand around them among trees. Several people wear saffron scarves. The gathering appears to be a funerary or memorial moment; a visible shrine-like bit is absent. A portrait-style caption is not visible.2007-07-25July 25 20072007-07-25July 25 20072007-07-25July 25 20072007-07-25November 24 20062006-11-24February 18 20112011-02-18 +1 copiesNovember 24 20062006-11-24Outdoor ritual at a construction site with a square brick-lined pit. A bare-headed man in an orange robe with a red-bordered cloth pours liquid from a brass pot through a white pipe into the pit, while a man in orange with a long shawl bends over it with a small vessel. A third man in orange-red robes wears a thick red and white flower garland and gold bangles and bends at the pit's side. Standing nearby are a shaved-headed man in orange with a beaded necklace and a man in white with a red-bordered cloth and white garment, both with palms pressed together. Around the pit are scattered rose petals, a brass pot and a brass lamp. Behind, a crowd of men and boys in white shirts and white dhotis with mala beads stand watching under a tent, with a dark banner and a blue-and-white flag visible.2009-07-08 +1 copiesNovember 24 20062006-11-24
