July 26 20072007-07-26A group of people walks along a dirt path beside a white-washed building with a thatched roof and blue-framed windows. A bare-chested man in white dhoti carries a folded document, and a woman in a red-orange sari walks beside him. A man in an orange turban and orange robe walks at the center of the group, with several others in white and saffron robes behind him. On the right, a figure in a yellow garment and a man in white with an orange shawl follow. A man in white with an orange shawl stands at the far right. On the left edge, a man in white shirt and orange lungi holds a notebook. Sparse grass, bushes and a utility pole with wires appear in the background under an overcast sky.2007-08-09September 19 20062006-09-19Outdoor photograph of a thatched-roof ashram building with a bamboo lattice wall on a dirt ground. Several men stand around in conversation: one bare-chested young man with long curly hair wears an orange cloth wrap and holds a long bamboo pole, while others wear white shirts and white dhotis, and one wears an orange shawl. Three framed portraits of a smiling bearded man in a white turban hang on the wall, and a man in white stands in the doorway on the left.2006-09-19Five men walk along a dirt path between white-walled, thatched-roof buildings, with palm trees behind them. Four men wear white dhotis or mundus with orange shawls draped over their shoulders; several are barefoot or in sandals. The man second from the right, bare-chested in an orange wrap, smiles as he walks toward the front. A metal solar-style fixture sits atop one building. The scene suggests an ashram arrival or procession, and the photo is a faded, slightly blurred print.2007-12-07December 23 20072007-12-23August 01 20082008-08-01January 12 20092009-01-12Outdoor photo on a dry dirt ground in front of white-walled, thatched-roof buildings with blue doors and green trees. A decorative multicoloured umbrella with tassels and a gold finial stands at centre, held above a figure in a red shirt and orange dhoti who has a shoulder bag and carries a golden trident-topped staff. Around them a group of ashram members in saffron/orange shawls and white dhotis or saris stands in a circle; one bearded man in white kneels or bows toward the central figure, and a woman in a white sari with a pink border stands at left. Banana plants and shrubs line the background.2007-12-23November 23 20062006-11-23December 07 20072007-12-07May 19 20082008-05-19
