The figure wears maroon-brown draped cloth, a leopard-print cloth panel at the hip, and several tiers of rudraksha beads at the waist and ankles. A rudraksha mala with a white ornamental pendant hangs at the centre, and a striped metal pole stands to the left against a warm orange-red background. Only the lower body is visible, so the person's face cannot be seen; the appearance cues are rudraksha malas and ceremonial adornment, but the face is not visible to confirm identity.2020-04-28 +1 copiesPhoto 11696646 +1 copiesDecember 02 20162016-12-02A performer stands on a dark stage, shown from the waist down, in rust-red draped dhoti-style trousers with a gold-toned waistband and a gold-patterned sash. Gold bangles circle both ankles and bare feet. A tall gold staff stands beside him. Behind him a large backdrop shows a waterfall and rocky landscape with a glowing blue light and small figures. The upper body and face are cropped out of frame. The scene appears to be a staged theatrical performance.2017-12-16April 16 20122012-04-16A performer seen from behind on a stage stands beside a staff with bells, wearing a rust-brown turban, long dark braided hair, a rust-coloured sleeveless top over a leopard-print garment and rust-brown dhoti-style trousers. Behind him a large carved deity murti with raised hand rises against an orange-red backdrop, and a leopard-print and tiger-skin draped platform stands at right, with smoke haze in the air.2017-07-25July 25 20172017-07-25Close-up photograph of a standing figure's lower body on a grey stage, shot from knee level. The person wears a rust-red dhoti with gold-edged borders, gold anklets, and a leopard-print top visible at the waist, and holds a slender metal staff or rod beside the feet. Behind them is a carved wooden chair with a cream cushion, its legs carved with lion-paw feet. A yellow-and-grey ceramic pot stands at left and a clear water bottle sits on a small carved wooden table at right. Only bare feet and the lower torso are visible, so no face or identifying features are shown.2015-12-07Close photograph of a person's bare feet standing on a red stage platform, wearing ornate rudraksha-style red-brown beaded anklets with metal spacers. The legs are draped in deep red-orange silk dhoti-style cloth with gold zari borders. Behind them, a large gold-coloured deity murti or seated statue is softly out of focus, with a red and patterned cloth beneath it.2016-12-02
