A photograph of an indoor reception in a pink-walled room. A long-haired man in saffron-orange robes with a white jasmine and red flower garland sits on a wooden chair at left, hands resting on his lap, with an orange shawl draped over the chair arm. A saffron-robed priest with a shaved head kneels before him, and a woman in a white sari with a red-green blouse sits with hands folded. Another man in white holds a lit oil lamp and a brass plate. Around them, saffron-robed attendants and devotees in white shirts and dhotis stand with palms joined, and a woman in a yellow sari stands at right. A tray of flowers sits at the bottom. Overall the scene resembles an aarti or reception ritual.
