A central figure with long, swept-back dark hair wears an orange turban, a multi-strand gold necklace, a rudraksha-style mala, gold armbands and an orange robe; he reaches forward toward a kneeling devotee, appearing to bless them. Beside him a shaved-headed man in an orange robe holds a brass tray and rudraksha beads. Several devotees in white dhotis and shirts stand or kneel with palms joined, and a man in white bows at the far right. Small deity murtis sit on a red-patterned cloth at the lower right. The seated man wears an orange-saffron robe, an orange turban, and a rudraksha mala, and is heavily garlanded with pink and yellow flower garlands. Several devotees lean in to offer flowers and garlands, one holding a bag of petals. Behind them hangs a black backdrop decorated with strings of white flowers, and a few saffron-robed attendants stand at the left. This appears to be a garlanding ceremony before a seated guru. Swamiji (probable): the seated figure has an orange turban, saffron robe, rudraksha mala and ceremonial garlands, and sits on a throne with devotees honouring him.2010-08-15July 16 20092009-07-16December 20 20112011-12-20A temple interior with orange cloth draped over pillars and a golden deity murti with garlands on a purple-draped shrine behind. A man in a yellow-bordered wrap bows low with his forehead to the floor before him, a garland resting on a white cushion. Several men in white dhotis and orange or yellow shawls stand and squat around, some with hands folded, one with rudraksha mala. A small water bottle sits on a round table to the right. Appearance-based a person (long hair, orange robes and shawl) is seated in the centre receiving a devotee's obeisance during a darshan.2010-06-13June 28 20102010-06-28July 17 20092009-07-17 +1 copiesA photograph of a temple-hall ritual in which a figure in saffron-orange robes and an orange turban, with long swept-back hair and a long gold-bead necklace of ornamental strands, leans forward smiling to receive or bless a kneeling devotee in white.
