He wears a saffron-orange dhoti and upper wrap draped over one shoulder, gold armlets on both upper arms, and a long rudraksha mala with a large bead pendant. A red tilak mark is on his forehead. Behind him stand large old banyan trees with aerial roots, and a low stone platform lies in the foreground. The scene is a temple-grounds devotional moment.2011-11-16March 02 20112011-03-02A photograph of a single standing man in an outdoor setting beside a large banyan tree with many hanging aerial roots. He wears an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl, with a rudraksha mala draped across his chest, his hands held together in front of him. Long dark hair falls to his shoulders. Garlands of yellow and orange flowers hang on the tree trunk. A low stone platform surrounds the tree base, and nearby stands a small black stone altar with brass oil lamps and a dark bowl of offerings. The ground is bare earth with dappled sunlight, and a red-painted stone structure appears at the right. A rough sign reads Pada-Puja context implied by setting; the scene suggests a padapuja at a sacred tree.2010-11-18 +1 copiesMarch 02 20112011-03-02A man stands outdoors in front of a large banyan tree with many hanging aerial roots, his eyes closed and palms pressed together in anjali mudra at the chest. He wears a reddish-maroon and mustard-yellow draped cloth, a red-orange beaded rudraksha-style mala and gold necklace, gold armlets and bangles, and a vertical tilak on his forehead. A low whitewashed stone ledge and a stepped platform with red-and-blue patterned mats sit behind him on reddish earth; a dark stone block is visible at the lower right. The scene resembles a satsang setting. Appearance-based candidate: a person, shown with the red-orange mala, gold necklaces and armlets, and ochre draped cloth.2013-05-19
