Its upper structure has red and white striped columns topped with ornate pillars and carved horned mounts, framing a deity murti decorated with a garland of flowers and a colourful floral arch. Gold-painted standing statues with flower garlands flank the chariot, and a gold deity figure with a crown and rudraksha-style necklaces stands at the base beside a horse-like figure. No living people are visible. The dark background emphasises the lights and garlands.2017-08-25Photo 11706226 +2 copiesAugust 25 20172017-08-25December 24 20132013-12-24February 13 20142014-02-13August 25 20172017-08-25Night photograph of an ornate golden ratha (temple chariot) during a procession. A tiered golden canopy with carved angel figures and lit lamps shelters a central shrine niche holding deity murtis, a seated figure with a crown and garlands, and a flanking attendant. Garlands of marigolds and multicoloured tassels hang from the pillars. Golden lion figures with garlands sit at the corners and a golden Ganesha figure with a garland sits at the front base. Decorated striped cloth banners flank the sides. No physical people are clearly visible; figures shown are statues in the shrine.2013-12-24July 31 20152015-07-31August 25 20172017-08-25
