A photograph of an evening puja at a Shiva lingam decorated with yellow and red flower garlands. A man in a saffron-orange garment with gold trim and a long white and red flower garland holds a lit oil lamp (aarti) toward the lingam. Long dark hair and a gold necklace are visible; the cues are distinctive, so this is a probable Swamiji (probable) performing the ritual. Beside him, a man in white dhoti and orange shawl holds a silver tray, and another man in white with an orange shawl and tripundra marks stands with palms joined in prayer. Flower-garlanded pillars and a floral arch decorate the background, and a seated man in orange is visible at the lower left.

A photograph of a linga abhishekam in a temple. A man with long, swept-back dark hair and a red tilak on his forehead wears an orange sleeveless garment and a gold bead necklace. He pours water from a brass vessel over a dark stone shivalinga set on a black yoni-pitha base. A second man in orange stands behind, holding a brass pot. Water splashes across the stone, and a tall brass oil lamp and a garland of yellow and purple flowers appear at the right beside a deity draped in red silk. Petals lie on the wet floor.

A long-haired man in saffron-orange robes and a rudraksha-style bead necklace pours a liquid from a large brass vessel over a dark black stone Shivalinga on a circular yoni-pitha base during abhishekam. Behind him, several men in orange robes stand, one with a bead mala and another with hands folded. At right, a deity murti is draped in red and gold cloth and adorned with a large garland of yellow, red and purple flowers. Liquid runs down the lingam and pools on the base, with a brass lamp visible in the background.

Outdoor temple scene under coconut palms with a strand of paper pennants overhead. In the foreground, a white stepped plinth topped with a black stone base is draped with garlands of yellow, orange and pink flowers, with a coconut placed on the ledge. A woman in an orange sari with a gold border and a white flower garland stands at right, smiling and raising a lit oil lamp with a flame. Beside her a man in orange robes with a garland and a brass bowl of offerings stands near. Behind them a crowd of devotees in white and light clothing stands with hands joined in reverence. This appears to be an aarti offering at a shrine during a festival.

A photograph of an annabhishekam ritual at a Shiva lingam on a black stone yoni-pitha base, set under a temple pavilion at night. The lingam is draped with a garland of yellow, orange and magenta flowers with green leaves and is coated with white rice or grain. On the right, a man in white dhoti and an orange-gold shawl leans forward with both hands on the lingam. At the centre, a man in orange robes with a shaved head and white forehead markings pours or offers material over the base. Behind them stands a gold-clad deity murti in red and gold garments. On the left, two men in white clothes with orange shawls and rudraksha malas stand, one holding a brass plate of green leaves. A small golden deity figure and brass pots sit in the foreground, and the floor is wet.
