He has a red vermilion dot on his forehead and his eyes are lowered. Behind him a golden framed structure sits beneath an orange canopy, and several seated devotees in white and red clothing sit with palms pressed together. A blurred woman in white sits at the left edge. The setting appears to be an evening satsang or puja. Swamiji (probable): long swept-back hair, rust-coloured beaded mala and ceremonial red silk robes, performing aarti as the presiding figure.2013-12-20December 18 20112011-12-18A man with long swept-back dark hair and a red tilak on his forehead holds a lit silver aarti lamp with a flame in one hand and a brass bell in the other. He wears a rust-orange wrap with a gold waistband, a red-orange rudraksha mala, and gold bead garlands; he is smiling and looking down at the flame. Behind him, a blurred monk in orange-brown robes stands in a room with a plain pale wall. The long hair, ornate gold beads and orange clothing are cues consistent with Swamiji (probable), shown performing aarti as the presiding person.2013-05-12December 17 20112011-12-17Outdoor ritual photograph of a man in red and orange ceremonial dress holding a silver bell in one hand and a lit oil lamp on a silver stand in the other. He wears a red-striped cloth wrap with a bright orange border over his shoulder, an orange armband, orange bangles and dark wavy shoulder-length hair, and he gazes to his right. Behind him, a second man in white ritual clothing carries a tray of offerings. Trees and soft green foliage blur in the background, with a low stone platform holding a small fire and brass vessels. Swamiji (probable) is identified by long swept-back hair, orange ceremonial shawl and gold-toned adornments while performing the arati ritual.2011-12-12
