A long-haired ascetic with dreadlocks, in an orange cloth, presses his fingers to the man's forehead in a blessing. A printed paper sheet is tucked into the man's dhoti. Behind them are a gold-coloured ceremonial vessel, an orange-and-gold cloth draped on a chair, and blurred figures in red and white clothes.2017-07-30 +1 copiesA photograph of a ritual blessing in a hall. A bare-chested figure with long dark hair, a flower garland of white and red blooms, and a rust-orange turban places a hand on the head of a man in a white dhoti and shirt with a visitor badge, who bows forward with hands raised. Beside them a man in white dhoti with a red-brown rudraksha mala and a white forehead tilak holds a folded paper, while others in white and yellow-orange garments look on and a cameraman films above. The scene reads as a Shiva deeksha initiation blessing.2016-01-31November 15 20112011-11-15May 06 20182018-05-06July 02 20172017-07-02 +1 copies
