May 23 20052005-05-23 +1 copiesA photograph of a discourse. A man with long, swept-back dark hair sits cross-legged on a leopard-print cushioned seat in front of a gold shimmering backdrop with silver diamond lattice and mirror accents. He wears a white dhoti with a wide gold border, a gold shawl over one shoulder, a long rudraksha mala and a large ceremonial gold pendant. He speaks into a microphone with one hand raised, and a red tilak marks his forehead. Pink and white flowers in vases flank him, and a row of coloured pennant banners hangs across the top. In the foreground, several seated audience members with their backs to the camera listen, including a person in a dark patterned top and another in white.2005-05-23May 23 20052005-05-23 +1 copiesA seated man with long dark hair and a red bindi sits with palms pressed together in namaste on a raised cushioned seat before an orange-gold draped backdrop embroidered with mirror-like sparkles. He wears a white dhoti with a gold-bordered cloth and a rudraksha mala with a gold pendant. A microphone stand stands in front, and a painted panel above him shows a shivalinga flanked by animal figures. Two flower vases with pink lilies and roses stand to either side, with ornate fabric banners hanging from poles. A small deity murti sits on a white-draped table at left. Seven or so seated listeners in the foreground, mostly seen from behind, face the speaker. Swamiji (probable) appears in appearance-based identification from the long hair, rudraksha mala and gold necklace.2005-05-23 +1 copiesApril 03 20052005-04-03May 22 20062006-05-22December 28 20062006-12-28A seated man in an ivory kurta and white dhoti with gold border sits in a cushioned wooden armchair with gold-tipped arms, a tiger-striped rug under his bare feet. He wears a long orange marigold garland and a red bindi, hands folded in his lap, eyes lowered and smiling. Behind him hangs a large sepia portrait of a turbaned man with a rudraksha mala, draped over black plastic sheeting. A tall walking staff leans beside the chair, with flower arrangements of pink roses, lilies and carnations at the sides, and a patterned fabric banner with elephant motifs hangs on the right. A steel flask and water bottle sit on the white cloth. The setting resembles a satsang seating area at an outdoor camp event.2006-04-01September 12 20102010-09-12November 17 20052005-11-17June 03 20062006-06-03May 24 20062006-05-24
