A man in a maroon turban with a jewelled ornament, a maroon top, a leopard-print wrap and a long gold beaded necklace with a gold pendant walks down the runner, smiling. Beside him a bare-chested man with long dark dreadlocks wears an orange dhoti and a shawl. Behind them, rows of devotees with folded hands stand under strings of lights. A large brass vessel sits at the right railing.2016-12-08February 13 20182018-02-13February 13 20182018-02-13December 06 20162016-12-06January 14 20182018-01-14August 25 20172017-08-25 +1 copiesMarch 10 20132013-03-10December 07 20162016-12-07A bearded man in a rust-red turban with a gold ornament and crescent, a long gold ceremonial necklace, gold armlets and red-and-gold bangles walks barefoot down red-brick steps. He wears a rust-red dhoti-style wrap over a leopard-print cloth and eyes lowered. Behind him, seated devotees in white, orange and pink clothing sit in tiers with palms pressed together in namaskar, and several black stone Shiva lingas stand on pedestals along the steps. Some attendees wear rudraksha-style malas. Oil lamps glow in the evening light. Several spectators are visible, and the setting suggests a large ritual gathering.2016-12-08February 13 20182018-02-13
