He wears a dark rudraksha mala across his chest, a red bindi with white tilak on his forehead, and has long swept-back hair. He looks downward. Behind him, two people in white dhotis and orange shawls stand at the edge of the courtyard among stone blocks and low walls.2011-03-05May 25 20182018-05-25 +1 copiesDecember 30 20172017-12-30April 28 20182018-04-28Outdoor temple ritual under palm trees. A bearded man in a dark red turban with a gold ornament and a thick red and white flower garland stands at left, holding up a hand with a gold ring as a gesture of blessing. He wears heavy gold necklaces with a large pendant and a dark maroon garment. Beside him, a bare-chested attendant with long dreadlocks in an orange-brown cloth holds a brass tray with leaves and flowers. Behind the man, a brass urn wrapped in purple and yellow garlands and a carved wooden shrine with yellow marigold garlands and straw-like decorations are visible. Several people appear in the background. The mood is ceremonial and devotional.2016-12-14
