Behind him, several young men in orange and rust-coloured cloths, some with bare shoulders and white and yellow body markings, stand in a row holding brass oil lamps and ritual vessels. In the foreground a bearded man in a rust-red saffron wrap, with a pink and white flower garland and heavy gold beaded necklaces, stands with eyes closed and hands pressed to his chest. Behind him, another person in orange holds a dark red cloth and a long rod near a white and gold-bordered cloth wrapped around a white pole. A crowd of people in orange and saffron clothing, some with orange turbans, stands behind, with a white drum visible on the right. A red-and-saffron kumkum mark is on the forehead of the central man, and a red bangle on his wrist. Some of the foreground man's clothing and the pole suggest a ritual anointing or abhishekam.2017-10-01A barefoot man in a rust-red sleeveless robe with a red-brown wrap and gold-edged hem walks under a corrugated shed roof, with rudraksha malas layered across his chest and rudraksha bands on his arms. He has a white forehead band with a red tilak, long dark locks, and a beard. Around him, several young men in saffron-orange robes with gold borders wear rudraksha malas, white forehead bands, and upswept dreadlocked hair, walking in a group. The shed roof, metal railings and a tiled floor frame the scene, which appears to be a temple-precinct walk. A person in a white shirt is partly visible at the left edge.2018-03-17
