The stage is decorated with warm orange and gold lights and a red-and-white canopy, with two white projection screens flanking it. Tall floodlights on poles illuminate the scene, and a striped tent canopy in red, green and blue hangs over the left edge. Yellow guy ropes run through the frame. The crowd is dense and appears to number in the thousands, though only individual heads are clearly distinguishable up close. No individual figure on the stage can be clearly made out.2010-12-29January 08 20122012-01-08March 07 20162016-03-07Night photo from the back of a large open-air gathering. Hundreds of people sit on red mats and carpets in rows facing a lit stage under a white canopy, with an orange and gold backdrop. Many attendees wear white shirts and white dhotis or sarees, and some wear coloured saris and headscarves. On the stage, a few figures stand near a central backdrop with a large painted emblem, and to the left a musical performance setup with speakers and lights is visible. Side screens and draped gold and red fabric frame the stage. The dark sky sits above the crowd.2009-02-23 +1 copies
