In the centre, a man in an orange-saffron turban and matching orange robe stands among devotees, with people around him holding up mobile phones to photograph him. Several devotees wear orange and red clothing and red wrist threads; one man in a white shirt holds a water bottle. Tents and lights stretch across the background.2016-05-08A dense night crowd of devotees dressed in white shirts and white clothing fills the foreground, many with raised arms and hands clasped overhead. Strings of green and purple fairy lights line the open ground, and a bright stage light glows in the distance beside a dark hillside. The atmosphere suggests an evening gathering, with people appearing joyful and absorbed in the event.2016-03-07Photograph from behind a large dark auditorium filled with a dense crowd of people, most with both arms raised overhead in a collective gesture. Many wear white, red and orange clothing; some have bracelets visible on raised wrists. Two large screens on the back wall show the crowd. The ceiling is dotted with small lights resembling stars. No individual is clearly identifiable as a central figure on stage, and the crowd is too dense to pick out a single a person candidate.2015-12-21A night-time outdoor gathering at a public ground lit by bright stage floodlights on the left and street lamps on the right. Most wear white and cream clothing, with some in orange, red and pink tones. Many have their palms pressed together in anjali or raised hands, and several hold up phones or cameras. Bamboo poles run across the crowd as barriers. Bright stage lights and a few lit lamps glow in the far background, with a dark sky above.2010-12-29Photo of a large auditorium audience with many people standing and raising their arms and hands high. Near the front of the stage, a figure in red and orange clothing is lifted above the crowd, appearing to be carried or held aloft. Two large screens on the back wall show images of a crowd. The ceiling is dark with small star-like lights, and a small monitor sits at the front edge of the stage. Attendees wear white, orange, pink and blue clothing, and some wear orange scarves.2015-12-21
