November 12 20082008-11-12A photograph of a smiling man with long, swept-back dark hair standing above a crowd outdoors among pine trees. He wears a rust-orange kurta, an orange shawl wrapped at the waist, and a long mala of rudraksha beads. A small red dot marks his forehead. In the foreground, several devotees in orange garments and white clothes face him, one with a hand raised to his head. The setting appears to be a yatra stop. Swamiji (probable): the long hair, orange ochre clothing and rudraksha mala are the qualifying cues for the figure standing above the crowd.2006-05-26A smiling man in an orange saffron turban and orange sannyasi wrap raises his right hand in a greeting or blessing gesture while holding a dark wooden pot with a handle in his left hand. He has long, wavy black hair swept back, a white tripundra with a red bindi on his forehead, and wears an orange-saffron draped garment with gold border, layered rudraksha malas with gold beads, a gold armlet and gold bangles. His hands are clasped at his waist and he smiles gently while looking to the side. He wears an orange turban with a small red bindi, and long dark hair falls past his shoulders. A long mala of brown rudraksha beads hangs across his chest, and one bare foot rests on the rock. He rests one hand on a dark clay pot beside him and gazes off to the side. Green grass and small plants grow at the base of the rock.2006-10-10A standing man in an orange saffron turban and orange cloth wrap, with a brown rudraksha mala draped across his chest and a red tilak on his forehead. He grips a dark wooden staff in his right hand, looking off to the side under a leafy tree against a pale sky. The scene is outdoors, with a tree behind him.2006-10-10A photograph of a man seated outdoors in front of a blurred green tree and a red building. He wears a draped saffron-orange robe and a long rudraksha mala of dark beads that hangs to his chest, and a red bindi mark is visible on his forehead. His long dark hair is swept back. He looks off to the side with a slight smile. The scene is a single person against a softly blurred background.2010-09-08Photograph of a man in profile, turned to his left, with long, loose dark hair falling past his shoulders. He wears a sleeveless orange-saffron wrap over one shoulder, decorated with a row of brown rudraksha beads down the front, and has a red tilak mark on his forehead. The blurred background shows a white and orange signboard and open outdoor ground. Appearance cues (long swept hair, saffron clothing, rudraksha malas) are consistent with a person, but the face and pose are not clearly enough established to commit to an in-person identification.2010-07-23July 02 20102010-07-02 +1 copiesA photograph of a single seated man outdoors on a rock beside trees, with palm fronds and a bright sky behind him.
