He wears a saffron-orange cloth draped over his shoulder and torso, leaving one shoulder bare, and a long mala of large brown rudraksha beads hangs across his chest. A red bindi marks his forehead, and his hands rest in his lap and beside him. The background is a soft-focus blur of trees and a pale wall in daylight.2011-02-25A smiling man with long dark swept-back hair and a red bindi sits against a weathered grey stone wall. He wears an orange-red saffron shawl draped over one shoulder, a long rudraksha mala hangs across his chest, and he holds a wooden staff in his left hand.2007-07-03A smiling man with long, swept-back dark hair stands outdoors among large banyan tree trunks and aerial roots. He wears an orange-saffron shawl draped over his shoulders and a red bindi with white vertical tilak marks on his forehead. Swamiji (probable): the long swept-back hair, saffron shawl and tilak cues are consistent with the page's reference to Swamiji at this event, though the appearance is not conclusive. Soft dappled sunlight falls across the scene.2006-10-23
