Evening ritual initiation in an open-sided pavilion with a corrugated roof and strings of coloured lights. A bare-chested young man in white dhoti with a gold border stands with one palm raised, while a long-haired bearded figure seated on a red and gold throne with a canopy presses a finger to his forehead and holds a ceremonial rod or wand. The seated figure wears a saffron-orange cloth draped over the shoulder, gold necklaces and gold armlets. Smoke or incense hangs in the air. Several people in white and orange sit behind, and a shaved-headed man in white stands nearby. Swamiji (probable) is the seated figure, shown with long swept-back hair, saffron clothing and ornate gold adornments, performing Shiva Deeksha initiation.

A bare-chested man with short dark hair, wearing a white and saffron-bordered dhoti draped over his shoulder, a long rudraksha mala and a pendant on a cord, raises both palms in front of him while a robed person with long dark hair and a pink-and-white flower garland places a hand on his forehead. Several white-clad men in saffron-bordered dhotis stand behind, and a woman with a vibhuti-marked forehead and gold jewellery is visible at lower right. The setting appears to be a ritual initiation ceremony.

A photograph of a ritual blessing in which a seated man in saffron-red robes and a gold-embellished garland of gold and beaded necklaces raises his right hand to touch the head of a bare-chested younger man in white dhoti with a rudraksha mala. The seated man wears a red flower behind his ear, sandalwood-style forehead marks, and gold bangles, and is smiling. Behind him is an ornate gold chair with a fan-shaped carved back, and a red and green draped backdrop. A small seated figure in saffron cloth is visible behind the young man, with another partly visible man in the background. This appears to be a darshan or blessing moment. Swamiji (probable): the seated figure with long swept-back hair, gold necklaces and a saffron robe on a golden throne matches the page's Swamiji reference.

A photograph of a ritual initiation scene. A man with long dreadlocked hair pinned up with rudraksha beads, a rudraksha mala and rudraksha armband, and a rust-red sleeveless garment places his right hand on the forehead of a shaved-headed boy with closed eyes and bare chest, who wears a white sacred thread and has a white vibhuti mark on his brow. Behind them, priests in white dhotis with gold borders and saffron-clad figures stand near a silver ceremonial staff and a small golden deity murti. The setting appears to be a temple sanctum with gold-toned decor.

Photograph of a seated ritual blessing at a temple-style setting. A seated man on a silver-backed red throne wears a rust-red robe, a long gold necklace with ornate pendants, gold armlets and bangles, and has a white forehead mark; his right hand is raised in a blessing gesture. Before him, a man in white dhoti with a gold border and a white head cloth bows forward, bare-chested, with sandalwood-style markings on his chest and rudraksha-style beads on his wrists, while another attendant in white stands behind holding him. Red and yellow pillars and a metal railing are in the background. The seated figure's appearance is consistent with the page's a person reference, though his identity cannot be confirmed from appearance alone.

A bare-backed young man kneels with his head bowed while a robed man in maroon cloth and a long gold necklace with a large gold pendant places a white cloth or sacred marking on his head. The seated man has long swept-back hair, a white tilak on his forehead, gold earrings and gold armbands. Behind them, several men in saffron-orange robes and rudraksha malas stand, and a man in white dhoti and shawl with rudraksha beads stands at the left edge, holding a strand of beads.
