Golden ornate jewelry and a gold-colored sleeve or garment dominate the right foreground, and a sculpted gold animal-headed finial sits near the wrist. Behind, a garland of marigolds and red-pink flowers hangs over an orange cloth. At left, a silver ritual vessel and small brass figurines of deity murti sit on a tray, with a silver bowl and spoon-like implement.2013-05-27Close-up photo of a seated person's hands clasped in lap, wearing saffron-orange robes and multiple strands of rudraksha beads with gold accents. The wrist bears a heavy gold bracelet with an ornate figural design and rudraksha beads, and a thin gold ring is on one finger. A red garment appears at the right edge. Only the hands, wrist and robe are visible; no face is shown.2012-10-17October 27 20112011-10-27Close-up photo of a seated person's upper body and hands during a ritual. The figure wears a thick pink and white flower garland with gold bead ornaments, gold bangles on the wrist and upper arm, and a reddish-orange cloth draped over the shoulder. The hands are held open in a mudra-like gesture above a maroon cushion with an orange cloth. On the left stands a small silver bowl and a silver cylindrical vessel on a tray. Blurred gold and orange ritual objects fill the background. Because the image shows only hands and torso, no face is visible and the person's identity cannot be confirmed from appearance alone; the setting suggests a temple puja or satsang.2013-05-27January 24 20202020-01-24 +1 copies
