Five men in white dhotis and shirts perform a musical ritual near a row of small oil lamps lit on a metal stand. From left, one man beats a large drum with a cloth-wrapped handle, two men play long brass horns, one man in white holds a tabla-style drum with a red cloth strap, and another man stands behind him. On the far right, a shaved-headed young man in white with a tilak stands with palms joined in namaskar. Above them hang a long banner of framed photographs and printed text, and a small deity murti sits near a bench at the right. Coloured paper decorations and tall painted pillars frame the room.2010-11-12July 20 20102010-07-20July 20 20102010-07-20A procession moves through a decorated hall with a grey floor under a metal-framed roof. Men in white dhotis and shirts play drums, including a red-and-white hand drum and a tall barrel drum, while a man in an orange dhoti and gold-bordered yellow cloth carries an ornate deity murti in a silver-framed palanquin-style frame. A man in a white shirt with a yellow dhoti plays a horn or conch-like instrument. Women in white saris and a man in a green wrap follow behind, some with hands folded. Orange triangular flags hang from the ceiling with maroon emblems, alongside colourful woven panels and leaf garlands, and a lit doorway glows at the far end.2007-12-23January 1st 2013July 20 20102010-07-20July 21 20102010-07-21December 21 20092009-12-21June 19 20132013-06-19
