In the foreground, a man in orange robes stands at a gilded golden throne (peetha) draped with a red cushion and garlands of yellow and purple flowers. A framed portrait with a garland sits at the upper left, showing a smiling figure with long hair and a beaded necklace; this is a printed portrait, not a living person. Beside the throne stands a brass oil lamp and a brass plate with flower petals and offerings. In the centre, a man in cream kurta and white dhoti kneels with hands joined on a red patterned rug, facing the throne. Behind him, a line of devotees stands with palms pressed together: women in white salwar kameez with blue badges, and women in cream and orange-red saris. A man in orange robes with an orange shawl holds a small offering near the throne. The setting resembles a darshan session.2010-02-22July 20 20102010-07-20A darshan-style ceremony in a hall with a pink banner reading "bliss" and the logo "Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam". On a gilded throne with a red cushion sits a framed portrait of a long-haired figure in orange robes, garlanded with yellow, purple and white flowers. A saffron-robed man in the left foreground, wearing a rudraksha mala, stands at the throne offering a cloth or garland. A second saffron-robed man stands behind with hands joined in prayer. Brass oil lamps and a flower-filled offering tray sit on a red carpet. Women in white and cream saris stand with folded hands, and a woman in white kneels in front of the throne, while a devotee lies prostrate at the bottom edge.2010-02-22A ceremonial scene before an ornate gold-framed throne draped with red cushions and garlands of marigolds and purple flowers. On the throne sits a framed photograph of a seated figure in saffron-orange robes, with long hair and a bead necklace, raising one hand. A man in orange robes stands at left adjusting the frame, while a woman in a white sari kneels before a red tray of flowers and offerings. Brass oil lamps burn on the floor. Behind, a woman in white with a yellow shawl stands at left, and an orange-clad man with an orange shawl stands center, with several women in white and pastel saris and a man in white to the right. A banner reads Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam and 'The bliss' in the background.2010-02-22A hall with a glossy white floor and a backdrop banner showing a large portrait of a man in an orange turban and orange robe, labelled with partial text reading "Paramaha... Nithy..." beside the Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam logo. In the centre, a framed portrait of a figure in orange sits on a gold-and-red ornate platform draped with flower garlands. Several people in white and cream clothing bend forward toward the platform on red-patterned rugs, one man in white kneeling. A man on the left wears white with a rudraksha-style necklace, and a standing man in white with a red shawl and long hair faces the platform. Women in saris of yellow, cream, and purple and a young woman in a red shawl stand along the right side. A ceiling fan and speakers hang overhead.2010-02-22August 12 20082008-08-12A padapuja scene in a hall with a dark stage curtain and red chairs at the back. In the foreground, several devotees in white clothes with yellow shawls sit on the floor with hands joined in prayer. A shaved-headed priest in white dhoti with sacred ash marks on his forehead and a gold necklace kneels with hands folded near a golden platform holding silver plates of fruit, flowers and offerings. A woman in white and gold sari sits beside him. On a raised wooden stage at right, a figure in orange robes sits in front of a golden throne decorated with garlands of marigolds and white lilies, with a crown-like headdress visible. The figure's face and features are not clear enough to be confirmed; the setting is a padapuja offering to the seated guru.2010-10-16April 08 20062006-04-08 +1 copies
