Several women wear red, orange and maroon saris and shawls; one wears a navy blouse with a gold sari. A man in cream kurta holds an orange and red ceremonial flag on a pole, and a large embroidered orange flag with a bird emblem hangs at the left. Smoke drifts through the hall during the pada-puja.2011-12-31A photograph of a devotional gathering in a covered hall with an orange-painted interior and a metal-railed walkway. Devotees in white clothing stand with palms pressed together in anjali mudra, facing toward a shrine at the left where a deity murti in red and gold sits. A saffron-robed figure stands in the foreground near the railing, joined by a shaven-headed man in orange robes with hands folded at the center. Decorative white star-shaped hanging ornaments and colourful painted pillars frame the room, with framed pictures on the wall at the right.
