Two young boys in white clothes and white shawls sit cross-legged on mats with eyes closed, hands folded in their laps. A standing man in white kurta and dhoti wears an orange-red shawl over his shoulder and rests one hand on a root; he appears to be a teacher or attendant. Another seated child in white sits further left, and figures in white are visible at the right edge. Dirt ground, rocks and green foliage surround the group.Outdoor scene beneath a large banyan tree at a temple construction site with paved stone slabs and yellow-painted layout lines on the ground. A bare-chested man in a white dhoti with long dark hair stands at the centre facing a group. Around him, several men wear rust-red and orange robes, one in a bright orange garment, and one man in a pink shirt with a teal lungi stands at right. A man in a purple shirt with long hair stands at left and a woman in a rust-red sari stands nearby. Nearby is a small metal frame and a tripod with a red cloth behind it. The group appears to be discussing the layout.2018-02-01Outdoor group meditation under a large spreading tree with dense green leaves and bare branches overhead. Dozens of seated devotees, mostly women and children, wear white clothing, many with rudraksha malas and small pendants, sitting with eyes closed on mats and cloth on the ground. A standing man in white stands near the tree at the back, and a few men at the right wear orange or saffron robes. A water bottle and bags rest on the ground at the front. Pale-blue and white emblem appears at the upper left.2006-10-08 +1 copiesA photograph of a seated group of meditators in white clothing on white floor mats during a satsang. In the foreground, several adults sit cross-legged with their hands cupped over their closed eyes, including a man with a rudraksha mala and a pendant, and a shaved-headed man with a gold bangle and rudraksha beads. Behind them, boys in colourful polo shirts sit watching, and a participant wearing a white headband covers his eyes. Several other people in white are visible at the top edge, with lanyards around their necks. No figure is clearly identifiable as a person from appearance cues, so the central seated men are described by role only.2010-12-02A seated group of devotees sits on woven mats in a plain hall with pink walls, green-shuttered windows and a blue bus visible through an open doorway. In the foreground a figure in saffron robes and rudraksha beads sits before a small offering table holding brass lamps, a bell, banana leaves and marigold garlands. Many devotees in white shirts and dhotis or saris are seated with palms pressed together in prayer or meditation, some men with white shirts bearing red emblems, and women in colourful saris. The scene suggests a satsang or puja gathering, with chairs at the back and a bicycle near the wall.2008-07-11Four people sit on red brick steps beside a grassy slope decorated with small colourful flags. Behind the group, a person in a flowing saffron-orange robe with long swept-back dark hair and a red bindi smiles and presses palms together in namaste. Below, a man in a white shirt with a blue lanyard and a rudraksha-style mala sits at left. In front, a woman in a white saree with a lilac floral print, dark blouse, gold bangles and a blue lanyard holds her palms together. At right, an older woman with grey hair and glasses wears white clothing, a beaded necklace and a blue lanyard, hands folded in her lap.2008-06-09Devotees in plain white ritual clothing sit cross-legged on mats in an open pavilion with red curtains, hands pressed together in anjali mudra with eyes closed in prayer. Several wear rudraksha malas and lanyard badges; one man at left has a tilak on his forehead. Pink and orange bowls with offerings and incense sticks sit before them. Bamboo-shaded trees and a parked vehicle are visible outside.2009-09-07Outdoor photo at a banyan tree shrine with a large spreading trunk and hanging aerial roots, wrapped with flower garlands in red, green and white. A standing man in white dhoti and white shirt with a yellow shawl holds up an object near the tree, possibly a lamp or offering. Around a black-tiled platform, about ten seated devotees sit in meditation or prayer: a woman in a blue-grey sari, a man in a white shirt with a lanyard, a man with palms joined in a green shirt, a woman in white with a yellow shawl, and a woman in white with a pink scarf. A seated figure in orange robes sits among them. Stone planters and a brass vessel surround the tree base.2010-07-08
