Beside him on the left, a woman in a rust-red sari with white ash markings on her arms and face holds her palms together in namaskar. A man at centre wears a tall black turban-like hairstyle, a maroon sleeveless top with a rudraksha mala and gold chain, a leopard-print sash and maroon dhoti, with a vertical tilak on his forehead. Behind him, a long golden pole-like object rises above the group. On both sides, a line of young women and men in saffron-orange robes stand with palms pressed together in namaste, with white and red tilak marks. Chalk kolam-style designs decorate the ground at right and left, and a small oil lamp sits near the right edge.2017-09-14April 29 20182018-04-29
