Several women in front wear white or pale vertical tilaka marks on their foreheads and close their eyes, some with hands folded or raised in prayer. Behind them, rows of people in white saris and white clothes sit and listen. A red-and-gold draped figure at the front centre holds offerings near a brass plate. Pale orange and maroon shawls and rudraksha beads are prominent throughout the scene. No figure in this image is clearly identifiable as a person by the required cues, so the central seated devotee is described by role only.2013-10-13Photograph of a large seated group of devotees in saffron and orange robes outdoors beneath a large banyan-type tree with spreading aerial roots. Many participants have shaved heads or tied-back hair, white vertical forehead markings, and beaded rudraksha-style malas. Several raise their hands, some with fingers pointed upward. A man in the lower right wears a saffron shawl, glasses and a multi-strand beaded necklace, sitting among the group. A standing figure in a saffron cloth at the top right and a few other seated attendees complete the scene, with a white ceremonial vessel visible at the bottom edge. Walls and greenery frame the background.2013-03-10August 08 20172017-08-08July 08 20172017-07-08August 08 20172017-08-08A photograph of a large seated congregation of young women and girls in saffron-orange clothing with rudraksha malas around their necks, sitting on the floor in rows at a satsang.
