Night outdoor ritual photograph. A figure in orange and saffron robes and a patterned ceremonial headdress stands before a decorated palanquin or processional platform, bending forward with a hand near a bell. The platform holds a deity murti or image draped with yellow, red and white garland strands, with a multicoloured canopy umbrella above. Baskets of bananas, oranges, coconuts and other fruit and sweets are arranged on the platform. At the lower edge, a bald man in white reaches up with a booklet, and a woman in an orange shawl holds a printed card. An oil lamp flame glows at left, and a man in white stands in the background. Given the presence of a person candidate with distinct orange garments and headdress but uncertain facial/appearance match, identity is left unsure.
