A long-haired, bearded man in saffron-orange robes and a white and pink flower garland sits on a red and gold ornate throne. He places his right hand on the head of a young boy in a white shirt who bows before him, and a woman in a yellow-and-maroon sari sits to the right. A rudraksha mala hangs at his chest. Brass lamps and green foliage decorate the dais. Probable Swamiji is seated on the throne, with long swept-back hair, saffron robes, a rudraksha mala and a garland, distinguishing him from the other attendees. A second long-haired devotee sits at the left edge.2017-02-17April 04 20172017-04-04A man with long dreadlocks, a white tilak on his forehead and a red-orange dhoti-style cloth sits on a red-cushioned seat before ornate gold-relief panels. He wears a thick gold necklace of beads and a gold pendant, and gold earrings. He places his right hand on the head of a young boy in a white shirt with an orange-red shawl, who has his eyes closed and face lifted. A pink paper is held in the man's left hand. A woman's partial figure is visible at the lower left. Appearance-based cues (long dreadlocks, gold ceremonial necklace, saffron-red robe, seated on a throne-like seat) make this a person giving blessing to the boy; attribution is based on these cues.2017-08-11Photo of a seated figure with long dreadlocked black hair, a gold hair ornament, wearing an orange-brown robe and a rudraksha mala, with eyes closed and a gentle smile, placing his right hand on the head of a kneeling man in a white shirt with hands joined in prayer. Seated on a leopard-print cushioned throne with gold lion-head armrests, with a gold lamp stand and a rounded white air conditioner in the background. The figure is a person given the long swept-back dreadlocks, orange robe, and rudraksha mala, shown in a blessing gesture to a devotee.2016-03-01 +1 copiesOctober 06 20172017-10-06Photograph of a bare-chested, long-haired man with a beard and a white tilak on his forehead, wearing a pink and white lotus garland, gold armbands and a brown-red cloth, seated before a shrine. He places his right hand on the head of a young boy in white clothes and an orange lanyard, who bows toward him. Behind them stand a seated woman in a red-bordered sari with bindi, gold ceremonial hangings, brass lamps and garlands of yellow and red flowers. The scene suggests a blessing or darshan. a person: the seated man has distinctive long hair, a beard, ceremonial gold armbands and a floral garland, consistent with the page's reference to a person.2016-10-09May 03 20142014-05-03
