In the right foreground, a person in a saffron-orange garment sits on the steps beside a gold-trimmed seat, with another seated person in a floral top and pink cloth nearby. On the left, several people in white garments and a white-clad woman with a white hair band sit on the steps watching the ceremony.

A flat-roofed red platform stands in the water beneath a large ornate golden throne-like structure with yellow, red and green striped drapery and a small image on its base. To the right, a smaller decorated boat-like shrine with a canopy floats on the tank. Rows of seated devotees fill the tiered stands on both sides, and a large screen glows at the upper right. In the foreground, around ten people stand on the steps at the water's edge, including a person in an orange robe, a person in a green garment with an orange shawl, and others in white and blue clothes, several with hands folded or looking toward the shrines. Strings of lights and orange flags frame the scene.2016-12-14November 22 20102010-11-22November 22 20102010-11-22Night photo of a temple tank at a stepped ghat with a large black stone lingam-style structure at upper right and strings of multicoloured lights overhead. In the water, white-clad men stand on a wooden ladder and pole scaffolding, and a lit palanquin-like float carries a deity murti garlanded with orange and red flowers, with a kalasha-like canopy above it. On the left, a man in white stands on the steps beside a carved wooden chair; a cushioned seat with an orange cloth sits in front, and several people in white and saffron sit in a row. No visible face-based identification is made.2010-11-23December 14 20162016-12-14November 23 20102010-11-23Night photograph of a large audience of mostly white-clad devotees seated on tiered stone steps beside a dark green water tank, lit by a bright floodlight overhead. Many wear white kurtas and white saris; a woman in a green sari and a woman in an orange-and-yellow sari sit in the front rows, and an older man in white glasses sits at the bottom edge. On the far side, a single figure in saffron or orange clothing stands on a raised platform at the end of a wooden ladder-like stair and wooden pole structure above the water, with another figure beside it. Rows of empty red seating stretch behind the water, and a white fence borders the steps.2010-12-02Night photograph of an illuminated outdoor pond setting at a temple complex. A decorated floating platform on the right is hung with coloured cloth strips, marigold-like garlands and a tiered ornamental canopy, and a small figure stands on it. Tiered red brick steps on the far side are lit with string lights, and several white-clad people stand or move along the steps and railings. Lamps and garlands line the terraced banks, and water plants float on the dark surface in the foreground.2011-10-12November 22 20102010-11-22Night-time ritual at a stepped temple tank lit by a bright floodlight, with strings of coloured lights strung across the top. In the foreground a boat carries a deity murti decorated with garlands, draped in flowers, with a golden umbrella overhead; a figure in a saffron-coloured robe and a white-clad attendant stand in the boat, and a man in white holds the boat's rope from the steps. A central pillar with a fountain stands in the water, and a figure lies prostrated on the stone steps in orange cloth. Several people in white clothing and a few in saffron sit or stand along the steps. The scene appears to be a temple tank ceremony with a deity procession by water. The a person field is unsure because the saffron-robed figure's appearance is not distinct enough to confirm.2010-11-23
