March 01 20182018-03-01A procession of saffron-robed sannyasis walks along a dirt path beneath a canopy of trees. In the centre, an elderly man with a long white beard and orange robe, holding a wooden staff and wearing a red tilak on his forehead, walks with his hands folded at his waist. Around him, younger men in orange-brown robes with gold-striped borders, rudraksha malas and shaved heads walk alongside; one holds a garland of white and red flowers, another presses palms together in namaste. Behind them, more devotees and a colourful banner on a pole can be seen.2013-11-05March 01 20182018-03-01Outdoor photo on a dirt path beneath large spreading trees. On the right, a man in white dhoti with an orange border carries a silver tray of offerings or puja items, and other white-clad and saffron-clad participants follow behind. The procession appears to be a devotional walk within an ashram setting.2010-12-26Outdoor photograph of a procession on a dirt path under trees. A central elderly man with a long white beard and orange robe walks forward, holding a long staff, with a red mark on his forehead. Flanking him, two shaved-headed men in rust-brown and saffron robes with gold borders and rudraksha malas smile and hold their hands at their chests in respectful gestures; white sacred markings are on their foreheads and arms. Additional people in orange and brown robes follow behind on a patterned mat over the path, and a few more figures are visible in the background.2013-11-05
