A photograph taken in a narrow whitewashed stone corridor lit by a bare overhead bulb and a string of small lights along the wall. An elderly man with a white forehead band and a white-and-saffron wrap, wearing layered rudraksha-style beaded necklaces over a white garment, stands at left with his hands raised and gesturing. Around him, several men in saffron-orange robes and beaded malas move along the passage. A younger man in orange cloth at center holds a silver plate with flowers and a small bunch of green leaves, while a man at right with long hair and a bare chest, wearing orange cloth and rudraksha beads, looks on.2018-03-01 +1 copiesMarch 01 20182018-03-01Photograph of a group of saffron- and maroon-robed men walking out through a doorway of a temple at night, with a teal-painted wall and a lit light fixture above. The man at centre wears an orange-saffron cloth draped over his body, a black and white beaded mala, and a white horizontal tilak on his forehead; he has swept-back grey hair and his hand is raised toward the others. Beside him on the right, a man with a shaved head wears a red-and-gold dhoti, a red-brown garland and gold-coloured ceremonial necklace. On the left, a man in white dhoti with gold border and a red-brown garland stands beside a red-and-orange shoulder bag. Behind them a man in a red turban and gold-accented saffron cloth wears a gold pendant on a beaded chain.
