January 08 20172017-01-08October 10 20162016-10-10A photograph of a smiling man with long dark hair and a full beard seated on a gold-and-red throne with an ornate gilded backrest. He wears an orange-saffron cloth draped over his shoulders, a bare upper torso with white ash markings on the arm, and a garland of white and blue-yellow flowers around his neck. Behind him, several women in red, maroon and yellow saris stand in a row; one in a red sari with a dark beaded necklace holds white gloves and an object in her hands. The setting appears to be a ceremonial hall. Visible cues match the appearance-based candidate for the figure on the throne, so he is labelled a person.2016-12-18 +1 copiesJanuary 08 20172017-01-08January 08 20172017-01-08April 27 20162016-04-27A bearded man with a smooth-swept dark hair and a vertical tilak on his forehead stands centre frame with his eyes lowered, wearing a maroon-red robe, multiple rudraksha mala strands, a gold chain and a small gold earring, and a rudraksha armband. A large garland of white jasmine, orange roses and purple flowers hangs around his neck. Behind him, a man in white dhoti with a yellow-bordered shawl and white rudraksha-style beads stands with hands folded, and a yellow pole is visible at right. A crowd of devotees fills the dim background, with a camera operator at left.2017-10-19A photograph of a man seated in profile on the right, wearing a large garland of white jasmine, red roses and yellow flowers with green leaves, with a yellow flower tucked in his long dark hair and a vertical tilak on his forehead. In the left foreground a brass or silver oil lamp with a pointed flame-shaped top stands near his hands. Behind him a bare-headed man in a dark shirt holds a rudraksha-style mala and a sheet of paper, and an older woman in a white sari sits at the left edge. Several other blurred people are visible in the background. The man in the garland is a devotee-style presence rather than an identifiable figure; the appearance cues are not distinctive enough to name him.2016-09-11January 08 20172017-01-08January 08 20172017-01-08October 10 20162016-10-10September 30 20172017-09-30
