A street procession in an Indian town, photographed from behind a uniformed police officer in khaki in the foreground. A white van with a decorated front and saffron flags on poles leads the way, followed by a line of men in white clothing and white caps walking along the road. Beside them a khaki-uniformed officer stands on the roadside. Motorcycles, a yellow truck and roadside buildings with a red-and-white tower line the street. The scene suggests a ratha yatra procession.

Several men in white dhotis and white shirts walk along the road; one carries an orange flag on a pole, and another wears an orange shawl over his shoulder. A man in a grey shirt and khaki trousers walks in the centre, and a uniformed police officer stands at the right edge. Shops with signs, a yellow-and-white gopuram-style structure and trees line the roadside. The page links this to a Ratha Paada Yatra, but the image itself does not show a clearly identifiable leader, so no one is identified here.2009-02-10February 12 20092009-02-12August 01 20082008-08-01
