A large gold crown-like headpiece with five golden lion or makara finials and green gemstone drops frames the head, with a white cloth wrapped around the top. Thick garlands of red and white flowers hang on both sides, a gold-and-diamond band encircles the neck area, and strands of rudraksha beads drape below. The gold ornaments and flower garlands suggest a decorated murti during a ceremonial alankaram. No people are visible; the subject is the adorned statue and its ornaments.2011-06-26A photograph of a deity murti decorated for worship, shown in close view.
