Many people wearing white clothes stand on the steps and wade in the water, while others in blue saris, yellow salwar kameez and orange shawls watch from the edge. In the centre, a gilded palanquin with a red seat and golden canopy sits in the water, attended by two figures in orange robes. Some devotees are bathing and others stand on the far steps in the background.
