A stage ceremony where a man in a white shirt and grey trousers stands at a draped yellow cloth covering a banner, beside a tall brass oil lamp with a lit flame. Several saffron-robed sadhus and monks stand around, one holding a peacock-feather fan. A man in an orange-and-white cap and white shirts stands at left, and a bald monk in saffron stands near the lamp. A large banner behind shows ornate lettering, a crescent and star, and portraits of two men. A hanging portrait on the back wall shows a seated robed figure with a small animal. Visible text on the left side reads 'Peace Messenger'.
