Dusk photograph of a festival procession float (ratha) topped by a deity murti seated in a gilded arched frame beneath a colourful fringed canopy with a lotus motif. The deity is dressed in jewelled garments and garlanded with yellow and pink flowers. In front stands a large red horse with a painted face and yellow flower garlands, wearing a gold harness. A shirtless man in saffron dhoti stands at left, raising a long golden-handled whisk (chamara) over the murti. Brass bells and a small lamp rest on the gold-draped platform, which has striped colourful cloth at its base.
