A seated audience in white clothes at a large hall session, many holding small wooden framed square devices up to their faces or eyes. In the foreground a young man with long dark wavy hair and a beard, wearing a white kurta, peers into a wooden frame. Beside him a bald man with a moustache, in a white shirt with a lanyard badge and a gold bracelet, holds a similar frame and gestures with his hand. Behind them other participants in white and a woman in a patterned sari sit on black chairs, many also holding frames. Each frame shows a small picture of a face. No a person candidate is visible.2016-12-11December 12 20162016-12-12December 12 20162016-12-12December 12 20162016-12-12December 12 20162016-12-12December 11 20162016-12-11 +1 copiesSeptember 22 20142014-09-22May 01 20142014-05-01A seated congregation in an ashram hall wearing white clothes fills most of the frame. Men in the foreground, many in white shirts, chant or pray with open mouths and hands raised near their faces, some holding small objects; one man in the front wears a gold chain and another has a rudraksha-style red-and-white cord at the neck. Women in white and pale tops sit behind them, and bright orange and red fabrics and cushions appear at the edges beside tall windows with lattice panels. The mood is devotional ritual participation, consistent with a homa or puja gathering, though no fire or deity is clearly visible.2009-07-01November 26 20162016-11-26 +1 copiesA photograph of a seated audience at a Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam event, mostly men in white kurtas and dhotis with a few in colourful Indian attire. In the foreground a bald, bearded man in white with black-rimmed glasses looks ahead. To his right a young man with a red-and-white vertical tilak mark on his forehead and a red shawl raises one hand. An older man with grey hair and glasses wears a white kurta with a brown shawl. Behind them many attendees sit closely together, some in blue and maroon kurtas, under warm lighting. No clearly identifiable a person figure is visible in this crowd view.2017-12-16December 12 20162016-12-12
