The seated figure on the left wears a jewelled crown with a crescent, carries a trident, and is adorned with ornate silver-and-gold necklaces and armlets; beside him a seated female figure wears a tall jewelled crown, a blue and gold skirt and a red-and-gold sari with ornate jewellery. In front, a large gold crown-like headpiece with green gem inlays sits on a black stone lingam-like base, draped with white jasmine garlands and a pink-and-green floral arch framing the pair. Small orange marigold offerings lie at the base, and a golden pot-shaped vessel stands before the murtis. The murtis are deity murti rather than living people.A photograph of a gilded shrine arch framing two large deity murtis, one in red and gold with a red turban and crown and one in blue and white with a striped crown, both wearing red-and-white and yellow-and-maroon flower garlands. In front sits a white statue in saffron-orange robes, rudraksha beads and a dark blue pendant, with a seated posture and raised hand, wearing a saffron turban and a cobra-hood canopy of gold above its head. Yellow silk drapes the back of the shrine, and an oil lamp sits at the lower right, indicating a worship setting. The statue is a depiction, not a living person, so no physical people are present.2011-02-25December 12 20162016-12-12
